Spousal Sponsorship - AOR Received but CWP is now expired.

Hello guys

I applied for spousal sponsorship and also applied for a visitor record to maintain a status as my CWP was close to expiry.I received my AOR yesterday however my CWP expired last week and havent got any reply for the visitor record.Can i apply for an OWP now or should i wait for the visitor record?Thanks to share your views.Thank you.

You should’ve apply for SOWP and not wait for AOR since you’re allowed to do that when your current status expired in less than two weeks. I would submit an application for SOWP with the AOR asap if I were you
