Spousal Sponsorship, Am I Living Outside Canada?

HI all
I am living with my sponsor wife in South Korea and she has been out side of Canada but she always go back to her Mom home at the end of her contract end and then get new contract from Canada and come back to Korea but from last two year she not go back to Canada and in this period we did marriage so now we are apply my PR application from here my question is that what date should i mention in bellow:

A) My sponsor has been living outside Canada since _/__ _. mm yyyy

like last date from she is here or 4 years previous date as she has been working 4 years in South Korea.

Pls help me out.

she is not considered resident if she was outside Canada for more than 6 months; even when she was going back, it would look like visiting and her stay was temporary not resuming residency; it also depends how long she was staying when she was going back - a few weeks, 6 months?
so i would put the date since she started working in S Korea but make sure to put an explanation letter on the side - with what u said here; all the times she went to Canada during the past 4 years, how long, that she didn't cut ties (she has strong family ties, maybe arranged home for both - staying with her mom?, also arranged employment - it looks that she was working for Canadian company?)

she always go back to Canada for six week and then re tune to Korea and she is not working for Canadian company she is a teacher here so we should mention date when she was come first time to now right?

right; but also write on a separate paper the fact that she goes back frequently and all other aspects to prove her intent of return to Canada; also if she is on contract and her contract will expire soon she can use that too

ok thanks yes we are attaching her contract it will be end of 08-03-2012, also we are trying to get lease agreement from her family so i hope it will also help us?
we don't have job offer right now.

lease agreement would b good or if it's not possible, they can write a notarized letter stating that it's ok for you two to live with them once you arrive and until you find work for example

Hi,
I applied for sponsorship to my husband in January and almost one month ago they sent me decision by mail but up to now I haven't received anything. I live in Egypt so I know letters can bedelivered very late but I am also worry about the answer because I have been living out of Canada for 14 years and I only went there to visit couple times. I wrote letter explaining my plans upon our coming back to Canada and I gave some evidence that I am willing to establish our life there. Did anyone have similar situation and got approved as sponsor?

i think you shouls be worried , my wife canadian has been out of canada for over 20 year , we got our sponsorship appproved without any problem and my ppt has already been sent to nvo. i wish you good luck

sheik,thank you for your reply,you gave me hope that all will be ok. can you say what your wife wrote as evidence of her intention to come back and live in canada?

very few reason indeed, wish to coma back to home country after so many years, missing her parents and sisters, not to forget mentioning that you was always in touch with them and that you always want to return but was stuck due to some ties and that now you are free from your responsibiities, time to return for the kids future. Nothing great but always make them see that you have that intention to return from very long time planning to do it but cannot be possible due to some reasons
