The exceptions to Option C usually apply to people who did not file a tax return because they live abroad and declared non-residency to CRA or because they earned no (or minimal) income.CDNPR2014 said:i believe this information is written on the checklist for the sponsor. there is definitely a line somewhere about what to do if an option C isn't available. not sure if this works for sponsors currently living/working in canada or if it's specific to sponsors living outside of canada..
