I need a bit of help.
I am a PR living in Canada i got married in August last year.
My wife is studying in Pakistan.
We applied for her credits transfers and she got accepted to York and U of T. Now we are applying for study permit application.
Can we apply for Sponsorship application along with the study permit application?
What are the Chances for her acceptance for study permit?

Need help.

Wrong. He is a PR. His wife doesn't qualify for a dependent visa.

Wajahat919 - Yes, your wife can apply for a study permit. There is no guarantee it will be approved, but she can certainly try. Her approval chances are probably low since CIC knows she has plans to remain in Canada long term.

If we attach the acknowledgement of sponsorship application alongside the study permit application then that doubt of staying in Canada can be eliminated.
See our target is that she doesnt suffer with a waste of opportunity at York and this is the best chance she has.
Since she is in 2nd year she got her credits transferred, you dont get credits transferred and you are ineligible for credits transfer in 3rd or 4th year.
So the loss that will be incurred to her educational carrier will be huge?
Also a someone told me that the policy with regards to international students has changed and last year they invited 200,000 students and from jan 2013 for September onwards sessions 350,000 students will be accepted internationally. Plus of you get credits transferred then 65% if chances are of visa acceptance since the visa officer will have the onus to rely on the fact that this is genuine academic case.
We have established an account statement of CAD $ 45000. and also that her father is supporting her in case of need.
I am also attaching an affidavit for completion of due process of law and if she is needed to leave the country to follow the law and legal requirements i will ensure that happening.
What do you suggest?

Please see below if you have PR..........

If you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, you may sponsor your spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner, or dependent children to come to Canada as permanent resident...............
