Hello All,

I will be submitting a outland PR application for my spouse. I am the sponsor and she is a Principal Applicant. There are no dependents.

I have two jobs presently. Both employers do not know about the other employment.
Do I have to declare both the jobs when applying for her PR ?

Will the immigration officer call my employers to check on my employment ? Them calling is not a problem but they should not tell my employers that I work for another employer also. Is there any way I can request the immigration officers not to talk about my other employment when they call any of my employer ?

I have not heard one report by anyone here that employers were called. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen, but I think you're worrying for nothing.

That said, don't know anyway to ask them what you want to ask IRCC. I am going to guess that if you did ask, it would increase dramatically the chances that they would call to check (because it sure sounds suspicious).

Why would they call employer A and ask questions about your employment at company B??

This is not a very "Canadian" way to think.

If IRCC ever wants to call and verify your employment with one employer, why would they talk about your OTHER employer?

They should not, but there could be some Immigrant Canadians who work in ircc who may not adhere to “Canadian” way of thinking and could try to be a little extra smart for no reason.
