let me give you an example, Applied on 20th May, Interview done on 22nd June, Medical requested on 23rd June, Medical results updated in CIC profile on 11th July. after that, no processing till date even after numerous follow ups via email and CIC Web enquiry form.

Better be prepared with his JOB reference letter then. They will ask for it in interview.

I hope we both are refrring to SOWP visa, dependent work permit as I am on study permit. I believe that has no interview process. Also, It's been 1.5 months.

Interviews are there, being conducted at Chanakyapuri, High Commission of Canada, New Delhi.

SOWP, exactly. Interviews are there. The timelines i told you are of none other than mine. And I surely was not the only one appearing for interview there.

In most of the cases the interview is conducted even if all the documents are uploaded to make sure the marriage is genuine.

What all documents have you uploaded with the SOWP application?

Marriage card, joint account statement, honeymoon tickets, marriage photos with family and friends too, marriage certificate, trip photos.

Being called for an interview is a good thing. If the marriage is genuine, it is us who gets an edge

Heres the list of what else they will ask for,
1. Call record details.
2. Chat/text message history.
3. Email conversation if any.
4. Your Job reference letter.
5. Applicants Job reference letter.
6. Your pay slips, tax receipts, Work permit/visa copy.

Job reference, he hasn't got any job here. Did you apply for open work permit or dependent work permit on your spouse. Also, there are not always interviews....
Docs like pay slips, my study permit copy has already been provided.
