Online Application date : March 15, 2017
Without upfront medical.
Visa office: New Delhi.
Email and call notification for an interview: May 25, 2017.

Interview date : June 1, 2017

Not yet. We are waiting for CIC's instructions. I think they will let us know about it after the interview.

Did you get any update after that? Keep an eye on emails and contact numbers you provided on the application. We didn't get any update on GC Key account. We got a call and email directly from New Delhi office.

No. I am waiting for my wife to come here first. I am eligible for CEC. I didn't go that way in parallel just to avoid conflicts by running two different application at the same time. I am not in rush either.

You are welcome. Strangely enough, our GC key account still shows "You do not need an interview." However, the phone call and email are legit.

Visa Approved, 15 minute interview today!
Questions about who all attended the wedding, number of people, show pictures, work permit, letter from spouse's employer - stating NOC code and job description.
General marriage circumstances.

Guys thanks again for all the help from this forum. At last my application got approved and they dispatched the passport. Once again Thanks a lottt..


My timeline:

Applied online on March 15th

Did upfront medicals

passport requested on May 19th

Passport sent to Visa office through VFS Bangalore on 26th

Passport dispatched from visa office on June 5th.

Hopefully will get the passport back by this Monday.
