Just have a question. Is is possible to have an express entry profile while a SOWP application is being processed? What if an ITA comes and the SOWP is in processing?

I'm a PhD degree holder. I have been offered a job in University Health Network, Toronto. I will be applying for work permit visa, along with my application may I also apply for my wife's Open Work permit visa ?

Submitting both applications (mine and my wife's) once at a time is good or I have to wait until I get work permit visa and then apply for my wife Open work permit visa. Kindly suggest.

Hello Everyone,

I have applied for my PGWP permit extension(i did not get 3 years because of my passport expiry) along with my wife's OWP on march 14, 2017.
I got update today that my work permit has been approved but no update yet for my wife's open work permit(without medical)
1. Anyone faced similar situation?
I am really having problem with long distance relationship so i am planning to left everything and go home
Canadian dream is really frustrating
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
(Background: we have paper based PR application in process. I submitted our pr application on 21 oct 2017. so it's been almost 7 months)

It is always a good idea to apply for your spouse's work permit along with yours.

Online application, upfront medical

Submitted : March 15th

Medical passed : March 30th

Passport request : May 19.

even i applied on march 18th online with up front medicals just got only medicals passed update on march 30th after that no update

Hey Congrats. You must be really happy! After all those times finally you get what you always wanted. Congrats to you again. Hopefully we will get some news soon. I applied on April 1st. So lets see.
