Your spouse does not qualify for an open work permit at this time.

The only way for your spouse to qualify for an open work permit is to first travel to Canada on a TRV. Once your spouse is physically in Canada, you would then apply to sponsor your spouse for PR through the inland application process and include an OWP application with the inland spousal sponsorship application. This is the only way.

Thanks Scylla for the advise and well detailed information..I have seen so many of your sound knowledge recommendations on this platform.
Please may i ask if you have any thread to detailed steps on the inland sponsorship? This may include supporting documents.

Thanks

There's no such thread.

If you are looking for step by step instructions then your options are either to hire an immigration lawyer or to do it yourself by using the information on the IRCC web site: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...l-partner-dependent-child-complete-guide.html

For supporting documents, you need to follow the instructions on the IRCC web site and also the checklist there. There is no thread for this.

If you have specific questions, you can ask them in the Family Sponsorship section of this forum. However no one here is going to take you through the process step by step or tell you about every supporting document. As said above, you either need to hire a lawyer for that or do the reading / research yourself through the IRCC web site.
