I'm the sponsor for my partner in applying for the common-law spousal residency permit and we'll also apply for the open work permit and were going to send in our full application by post (nothing online, except payment).
I'm a little confused on which paperwork to fill in for the open work permit (based on British citizenship), I have only found the following document for the spousal open work permit to fill in: https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5556e.pdf
The way the document refers to the sponsor is confusing, hence I’m concerned I’ve got the wrong document.
Any advice is appreciated!
