Spousal Open Work permit Application (Paper)timeline

Dear All,

I have applied my Open work permit application(Paper) while my spousal Sponsorship for PR application is in process. I have applied both application from inside Canada. As I am Australian Citizen (I can stay in canada for 6 months based on eTA)
PR application received by CIC: 26 March 2018
Open work permit received by CIC-Viggerville, AB : 4 May 2018 (as eligible while yr PR application is in process )

Can anyone please advice on Approval timeframe, they says processing time : 4 Months
I would greatly appreciate any help.

hi, it is taking between 3 to 4 months for the OWP. You can also call CIC and find out the status from them. Also, didn't you send your applications to Missisuaga. What has Viggerville, got to do with it. Can you clarify.
 
I I submitted to Mississauga at first place together with my PR application. However due to incomplete fee(which I never knew 155+100) they suggested to resubmit by sending to Cic-vigeeville. So my final application was received by them on 4th May.

I called Cic this morning . However looks like they haven’t started working on it.
I am getting really good job offer in mean time which I really don’t want to miss, but what can I do?

Nothing you can do but wait. Expect it to take 3-4 months.
 
May 4th to July 23rd is quite impressive... Congratulations!

I submitted my spouse file in decmber and i submitted medical with it. But last week embassy ask for medical again what can i do?
why they ask for medical again when i submiy it already?

Just submit the same receipt.
