Hey guys I need some help.My spouse is a canadian citizen. He lives and works in Canada. So I am applying for a spousal immigration. My question is that do I have to change my CNIC card and passport after my nikah. Some people say that these two things must be changed after nikah before apllying for the immigration while others say that it does not matter i can apply for spousal immigration without changing my CNiC card and passport after my nikah....I am really confused. Please help me in this regard.

Its not a requirement, People change it in PK for two reasons

i) To have their Husbands's Name as their last name if they want
ii) To have their Nadra status updated as of a Married person and get included in the family tree (FRC)of their Husband.

Your MRC from Nadra, and Nikah Naama is enough. That's my take on it.

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are writing with regards to your family-class application for permanent residence in Canada.

Please be advised that, in order for us to finalise your application, we require the following:

- Copy of the bio-page of the current passport for you and your dependents.

Please submit the requested documentation/information to us within 14 days by return email.

Sincerely,

High Commission of Canada
Immigration Section(p.p. SXB)

I dont know what stage of processing is this, means I have heard that there is no PPR1 required now a days, which even isnt asked for, this way.. Like it is always asked with some information sheet, height, eye colour etc..

Please enlighten...

Send this info to them as soon as possible.
Your case is getting close to finalization.

Can anyone please provide the link to notify CIC for the address change of sponsor.

Thanks
Two options:
1) Use the case-specific enquiry form on their website: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=london
2) Send them an email directly: london-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca
You can use either option to contact CIC, the enquiry goes to the same place just pick one.
Be sure to include your file number, UCI, fee payment receipt number, and any other identifying information in your communication - just your name is probably insufficient.

Remed is when the first medical expires (12 months validity) and VO asks for another medical.

Can anyone advise on the process of declaring gold when traveling to canada on the immigration visa. Is there a limit on gold you can bring as your property when moving for the first time.
