I have a small problem but i dont know if this is the correct place to ask.. My sister who lives in Canada Toronto has applied for her Husband who lives in Pakistan karachi on June 6th 2015 she has not recieved any email regarding her case still. Meaning the email you get that CIC has gotten your mail..

According to CIC's website the current time for Sponsorship Approval is 56 days and they are working on applications received on 02 June, 2015. Your sister's application went on June 06, so expect few more days for SA email. Secondly, how she sent the application, was there any tracking number through which she could know if CIC has received the application.

My sister sent it through Fedex we have tracked it through that and they have received the package.

Sometimes CIC sends AOR but most of the times it does not, so just wait few more days for SA email.

Hi I applied in May 2013 I don't know what's going on I have 10 months old baby
I ordered notes it says every task is done but they are not contacting
My son haven't seen his dad yet
I don't want to ho any MP or other authorities I'm so tired and fad up of this stupi immigration
I don't know how can they finilize cases who applied more than one year after us
Sorry for the long rant but I'm literally heart broken pl pray for me

Hi, I am new to this forum and have some questions. Our application was received in Mississauga November 17th 2014 and sponsorship approval in May 2015. File was sent to London and nothing updated since. I wrote to the London office with a question and they got back to me saying this:

Dear Madam,

This is in response to your enquiry regarding the above noted file.

Please be advised that the subject application is awaiting officer review. Currently, we are putting into active processing, applications that were received in CPC-Mississauga in October, 2014. Our aim is to finalise applications that have begun active processing within 8-12 months. This application was received in CPC-Mississauga on November 17th, 2014, therefore should enter active processing very soon.

Once this application is put into active processing, we may be in contact with you to submit additional documentation/information. Please provide any requested materials within the timeframe mentioned in our letter to avoid unnecessary delays. Also, please keep us informed of any changes in your/status (address, phone, email, newborn children, etc…) so we can keep the file up to date.

The medical validity date is October 23rd, 2015. The officer who is assigned to this file will request a medical reassessment from our medical office closer to the date of expiry.


I wrote back asking for clarification if its 8-12 months ONCE an officer starts processing....? I was under the impression it was 8-12 months from SA. This is the reply I got...

When was your application transferred to LVO?

Please submit a case specific inquiry to LVO (I am assuming your file is in LVO)

Hey, my brother also applied for his wife on June 12 2015 and he still has got no email from CIC.But when I applied on March 12 2015 for my husband I got two emails.One on April 20 2015 to confirm that they have received my application and one on May 12 2015 which said that the file has been transferred to London visa office. Maybe your sister should also check the junk email and if the time is over the processing time then she can call CIC with her receipt number to make an inquiry.

No, the London visa office does not send a AOR2. You have to wait for about 8 to 10 months before they email you about additional documents or a re-medical request.

M silent reader at this fouram actually my wife applied my spouse visa back in Jan 2014 and got transfer my file to london after I received nothing from lvo now m thinking to order notes but I don't know how to do this and can I do this online and second thing is (is there any negative impact on my file) plz senior member pls guide me

Hi I am having a similar case I wanted to know if u guys can help me, my wife lives in AbuDhabi for more than 2 years she is originally Egyptian, today I received that the Canadian immigration send her file to Cairo, I am not sure what to do? or why did they do it?

Can you imagine the amount of applications they have? It not 1 but thousands and they work on assigned parts. Your lucky that your case is in London and not Islamabad!! There you would wait years............
