Hello, I am new on this forum and i had a question about my Wife's Case Status.. I know its a bit to early to ask questions but it will just clear everything in my mind.

Application Status
1. We received your application to sponsor (Persons Name) on April 7, 2015.
2. We started processing your application on May 1, 2015.
3. We sent you correspondence on May 28, 2015 about the decision on your application.

The Email i got regarding my wife's case was that her case was accepted and was transferred to the London Visa office. They also told me send the Upfront Medical if it was not sent already.

I had gotten the medical done and sent the medical on June 16th 2015. My question is when should i expect an update on the Application status Page or when should i expect any mail ???

Thank you
Congratulations on getting Sponsorship approval. The next step will be "In process" on ECAS status and probably after 8 - 10 months from SA.

Hey Guys!
I'd recieved a letter from LDNimmigration. As per their requirements in the letter, I sent them Urdu Nikah Nama, pics and communication evidences. The letter has been delivered to them. All these things happened in this month, July 2015.
So anyone can please tell,
Do they give response, if yes, how long it'll take.
Thanks

This is Khalid from Pakistan and My Fiancee is PR, Living in Canada since 18 Aug 2014.
Our marriage is planned December 2015...
We are planning that SHe will stay with me in Pakistan and in parallel She will apply for my immigration as spouse!!

What are the limitations and restrictions in our case?Huh

Many Thanks for your time

On PR she can sponsor you, but as a PR she has to be in Canada physically. Though she can have short trips during sponsorship process, but she can not apply sponsorship while she lives abroad. Only Canadian Citizens can apply while living abroad for sponsorship.

8-10 Months from SA meaninggg

After SA (Sponsorship Approval) it may take 9-12 months to DM (Decision Made). If everything goes smooth.

Where did you get this info from?

There is no restriction at all. The only thing is she has to provide evidence that she has the intention to live in Canada once her husband got the VISA.
Other than this she can live with her husband during the whole process. Actually this is in favor of her case.

If the refusal is based on certain breach than . sorry to say . but thats probbaly what the judge will say . i suggest you return to Canad ASAP. And sponsor your spouse again. Appeals take some time too

I would say don't waste your time in appeal....Simply go back to Canada and properly resubmit your application, as required. They just follow the code of Immigration law.

If you are a PR you are not allowed to apply from outside the country. The will over rule your appeal.

Yes - there is.
Quoted from the guide:

If I live outside Canada, may I sponsor?

If you are a Canadian citizen, you may sponsor a spouse, a common-law partner or conjugal partner, or a dependent child who has no children of his or her own. However, you must demonstrate that you will live in Canada when the sponsored person becomes a permanent resident.

Note: Permanent residents residing abroad may not sponsor from outside of Canada. Canadian citizens travelling as tourists are not considered to be residing abroad.

Look at the wording again, it says "Permanent residents residing abroad may not sponsor from outside of Canada" Like I said before this means you must be in Canada when you are filing application for sponsorship. Once you have filed, you can definitely go back and live with your partner. This also demonstrates the proof of continuous relationship. But with the intention that you will live in Canada when the sponsored person becomes a permanent resident.

Sorry your information is wrong.I sponsored my spouse and stayed in canada for one year and then i went back for 11 months and my application was refused because i was not residing in canada(i am PR).For PR you have to remain in canada till the completion of sponsorship.Only you can go out on short trips not more than three weeks.

I have a small problem but i dont know if this is the correct place to ask.. My sister who lives in Canada Toronto has applied for her Husband who lives in Pakistan karachi on June 6th 2015 she has not recieved any email regarding her case still. Meaning the email you get that CIC has gotten your mail..
