Hi, does anyone come across a "PROTECTOR" stamp on Pakistani passport for travelling?? because I have that you need a PROTECTOR stamp on your passport for leaving the coutry for job if you dont have it airport authorities will give you hard time and ask for big amout of bribe to let you go other wise they will not let you go, I dont know if this is only job related travelling or any other travelling because my wife she is travelling soon for Canada as an immigrant so just worried about this tension lol.

I will be out of this forum as my wife got the visa last week by the grace of Allah....
All the best to all applicants who are waiting and may get their files processed faster InShaAllah and be patience and keep praying it is just the matter of time and you will forget everything once you got the visa in your hand...

Good Luck!!!

No such thing required for immigration to Canada.

IM-1 Visa is placed in passport by the Canadian Embassy, and a COPR (confirmation of permanent residence) is also issued for each person.
That's enough. If anyone says otherwise, they are guilty of misrepresentation and/or trying to ask for bribe.

She doesn't need a protector stamp. Protector stamp is only requried if you are going abroad on a work visa. And yes authorities give u a hard time if you are going abroad on a work visa and you don't have stamp in your passport. I had to come back from airport because of that. but then again, your wife doesn't need a protector stamp.

file transfer to London office since 31 July 2014 nd my husband medical also expire any update plzzzzz

Huma, on average they take anywhere from 10 to 12 months to start communicating, at least that's my experience and also by looking at cases here.

A little more wait and InshAllah you will hear back soon. My file was transfered in Jan14 and I got first reply in Feb 15.

As far as medical goes they will request re medical.

Best of kuck!

Asalam o Alaikum,

Hope you are doing well. A bit confused about medical re-assessment:

My Wife is in Karachi, Pakistan. In the email for medical re-assessment, 'Delhi Medical' has written:

Please visit this website: xxxxxx for identifying Panel Physician (PP) in your vicinity and take this email to the Panel Physician (PP) for the re-assessment(s) to be arranged. For clients outside India, please remember to advise the PP that the results will need to be sent to India .

You have 7 days from the date of this email to contact PP and comply with this request. Failure to do so may result in the closing of your Immigration medical file, which may result in the refusal of your application.

We emailed IOM and they gave appointment for date which is after this 7 days (almost 10 days later than the 7 day deadline). We took email to IOM Medical Center in Karachi and they told us to email IOM to get an appointment.

What should we do?

Thank you very much in advance
