I have another question.

We received our sponsorship approval in July 2014. We have recently sent additional documents to London visa office. My question is whether these documents will be sent on behalf of applicant or sponsor. In our case my wife ( sponsor) sent these documents. We have sent these documents voluntarily. Now I am worried that they should have been sent on my behalf. Will this create any problem?

Moreover my wife is currently visiting me in Korea where I am working and living. She will return in August to Canada and we have sent her one way ticket to Canada. Also, we have sent a letter from her mom that we can stay with her once we move to Canada until we get a job. We have also shown that my wife is maintaining her bank account in Canada. Are these proofs enough as intent of return?

Do we need to update my wife's address even though she is just visiting me for few months? If yes, what is the procedure?

Submitting documents by sponsor or by applicant doesnt really matter. You both can do that.
What i doubt is you submitted one way ticket. You should instead showed them a return ticket. They might doubt your wife's intensions of returning back to canada. Maintaining a bank account isnt much of an evidence that the person will come back.. Thats what i think.. Could be wrong too!

My file is also transfered to london, what does that means , before it was sent Islamabad. Does anyone has any idea what it means???

Guys check the london visa office processing times again its now showing 27 months.

Hi Everyone,

My wife sponsored me from Canada in family class sponsorship, I have visited CIC website a month ago London visa office was showing processing time of 11 months , BUT now it is showing 27 months what the hell is this..

2- My wife was off welfare a year ago and they sent her a letter that you are in eligible because you are in receipt of social assistance WHICH she is not she was working full time as security officer in the same welfare office, she went to the office explained the situation to the welfare office staff and the reply she got was amazing that you name was not removed from the recipients data base and now we have terminated your name from thee welfare recipient list, and then they gave her a letter referring to migration that she is not on any welfare only her name was still in the database. I don't know whats wrong with entire canada how difficult it is to be separate from your wife...

it has been a month since it is showing 29 months but it is a last year statistics and the current trends show that applications are processing within 14-16 months window..... keep praying and hope for the best...
Good Luck!!

Members I need your valuable advise. I did my remedical back in Nov 2014. I didnt hear anything back since then. I applied for notes, in which it is written 'pls send new medical'. And in the final comment it is written "Send meds X 1- Meds Pending. However in few sections above the final comment it reflected my remedical has been updated. I wonder why there is this contradiction.

I also inquired IOM about it through email and they confirmed me that my medical results have been submitted.

I need your suggestion what should I do in this case so that my medical issue is resolved ASAP??

Just send a polite case specific enquiry. It may take time for them to respond back though.

Its fine. As long as they are getting the documents they are requesting and reference the file# and UCI#.
Is your wife a citizen or PR? If she is a citizen, you have more flexibility that you can stay longer.
Just inform CIC with your reason.
If this is only for 2 months, I wouldn't bother changing the address.
She will also get the email notification when visa officer opens the case.

I am not sure if there is a difference in links but this one is direct from the LVO site:
