My file number is the 8 digit UCI number right?

Alhamdulillah I have received the following from LVO today:

Please be advised that this file has reached the final stage of processing is now ready for visa issuance. Since you appear to be resident in Pakistan, and Pakistani law does not permit the mailing of Pakistani passports from Pakistan to other countries, we will not ask you to submit your passport to our office in London. Please refer to the attached document for full instructions regarding submitting your passport(s) to the Islamabad visa office within the next 30 days so that your permanent resident visa(s) can be issued.

Very happy and pray for everyone to be united with their spouses very soon InshaAllah...

Here is my timeline:

Applied: June 2013
Approved as Sponsor: July 2013
File initially sent to Islamabad
File transferred to London: January 2014
Remedical request: Oct 22, 2014

This is stupid about the age difference.

It is in our religion we have done it before, Prophet Muhammad PBUH married an older woman.

Its not prohibited in our religion.

Make sure you give them strong and good reasons for this. All the best. May Allah help you.

The VO is not objecting upon the religion, he is emphasizing on CULTURAL Norms. In this specific part of Asia it is really very unusual to marry the female who is elder than you. So take it in that sense rather getting and involving religion into it. Yes you can take help from religion to make your argument strong when email to CIC but you cannot skip their Objection of cult norm.

Hi guys,

My wife sent an email for re-medical on Friday evening and it's been a few days and we still haven't got a reply back from them with the remedical date

Should we wait more or just go ahead and call directly to get a medical date? (for Lahore)

Thanks

My husband sent his e-mail for re-medical on Friday afternoon. He waited until 12pm Monday for a reply with continious calling. Then he sent them the same e-mail again and got a reply by the afternoon. His medical appointment is on November 28th.

Hope this helps. I think you should send an e-mail again and continue to keep calling especially early in morning and after noon time.
