SPOUSAL IMMIGRATION - File transferred to London Office from Islamabad

AOA,

i am about to apply for spouse visa. My wife is my sponsor. we are completing the documents stated in the checklist.

i have a few question. i have been following the forum for quite sometime now, im a bit confused as on some websites its states that Pakistani nationals have to submit Educational documents and country specific forms as well. Can any please help in this regard.

Forms completed so far are as follow

1. IMM 0008
2. IMM 5669
3. IMM 5406
4. IMM 5490
5. IMM 5285
6. IMM 1344
7. IMM 5481
8. IMM 5443

Is there any form missing ?

i also wanted to know about the number of passport pictures to be submitted and should i get them attested by the photograper ?

Do we have to submit original documents or attested photocopies apart from police certificate ?

Do we have to write cover letter and personal statements for the application ?

I Sponsored my wife in Dec 2011. I got the notifcation last month that file is transferred to London. Does anyone has this same scenario that they have to wait for almost 30 months and then the file is transferred and now do we have to wait for the London Processing times or our file will be looked at in the next month or so
Any advise will be appreciated

No one can answer that, it solely base on your luck, but i have seen old cases move really fast in London VO mostly because they prioritize those cases, but cant be sure so keep praying and also if they get to you file, it will be processed in few months instead of 11.

1.Supply nine (9) recent photos taken in the last six months for you . Follow
the instructions in your guide in Appendix B: Photo Specifications. (no attestation required)
2.Yes you will have to fill country specific form present in the asia pacific guide title "supplementary information form for pakistani nationals"
3.yes you will have to send all original documents including : birth certificate + english true translation of birth certificate, education certificates, original nikahnama + nadra certificate of marriage + english translation of nikah naama , 2 attested photocopies of your NIC + Passport

*note: attest your copies from an edvocate or some 18 grade offiicer

Thanks for reply. There email form when i fill and try to send i get system error. Tried so many times..

yes there have been some server related issues and lots of people cant send case specific inquiry through dmp portal

so i would suggest e-mail them and they will reply you in a month. or wait for the service to go up again.

you cant, because its in image format. they create it this way.so if you want to convert it into word document file download Abby Fine Reader software (600mb) if you have know how of computer related stuff

Thanks for the info Zameer. It worked. So now will some one kindly help regarding these notes . Few questions to be answered please.

1. I sent original documents as per request received on April 13 including Marriage certificate and wedding pics but i dont see them in the Incoming corresponding in the notes? what should i do , I sent on April 18 which reached on 22 april as i had the tracking number along with that i paid the fee which is shown below in incoming (but even that is dated May , even though i submitted in April)

2. The notes were requested on 26 june 2014, Due date said 6 June 2014, shouldn't i have seen some new update date such as Aug ?
3. In the notes sectioned .. they mentioned something at the end to be waived off .. what is that ?
4. Can anyone guess timeline form these notes

in my opinion

The required documents were not received or added to your file at the date of your gcms notes creation thats why they are not added in your incoming correspondence.

i would suggest that you should do a Case Specific inquiry about them and attach your receipts of the courier company so they can track them and add them to your file , also type " URGENT" in the subject of you inquiry so they deal it with priority.

those docs that you sent will hep them waive your interview

I talked to my lawyer and he said if you order notes, it does tell you your timeline but may in fact delay your file swell.

As for the Notes they are in OTTAWA, the file is sent from London to OTTAWA and then the notes are issued and sent to the user

the file is sent back again to LONDON. The whole process takes a month.

You should order Notes once a year that is what my lawyer said. Everyone who applied should know that it takes 30 months for the whole process, in some rare cases the process takes a year and some bad cases it takes more then 36 months. So my Brothers and Sisters please be patient and pray.
Everything is done according to the will of ALLAH, when the time is right.

PLEASE SHARE THIS INFO, I don't want any of your process to delay further.

You do know this is not a physical process ? Its all done through their doc management system. We all know why your lawyer told you that to get load off his shoulder of ordering notes. Go through this forum and you will find out how competent these "lawyers" are.

This lawyer is an ASS.. don't trust him with such an absurd story... the GCMS is an online system that has scans of your file and its not the physical file itself... u can order notes as many times u want..

I think your should change your lawyer, otherwise such ass..... will definitely make you wait for 30 months. or do it by yourself and get processing done in 12 months like us.
