Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah my husband got approved for Immigration they took his Pass Port sent paper for new medical and we will be returning to Canada in 2 weeks to 2 months. I thank Allah a million times and may he bless everyone in this forum with the same blessing as us In Sha Allah. This will be the happiest Ramadan in our lives In Sha Allah

What are the gcsm notes? and what do they tell?
how can i apply for them and how long does it take for it to come through?

I haven't heard back from them since i applied in april 2013

If file transfer to London, they will contact both applicant and sponsor via email (if provided).

Gmcs notes are the database where visa officers follow-up on your case. Takes 30 days to arrive via email.

There is no set time for contact from LVO OR CHC

Looks like they are sending correspondence for medical or additional docs thru email if you have mentioned one when you submitted your application.
as far as I know gcsm notes explain in details the different stages of processing and at what stage the file is currently waiting for review in short it helps to understand timeline...
sponsor can apply gcsm notes but have to attached a singed consent form by applicant to release information, it costs $5 and takes 30+ days to receive your notes in email and I am waiting for one right now its been 30 days....
apply notes and see which stage is it at....

Thank i just did that, i am new to this forum. are you aware if any Nikah Only cases have been sent to London or not? As anyone mentioned that?

Online status may or may not change. I am also a Sep 2013 applicant and my ecase still says application rcvd. Even though I have been asked for some docs and that makes it obvious that file is being worked on.
As far as the notes, ur husband can order them but u wud have to sign a consent form saying that ur information can be released to him.

I can send u the form and also the link to order notes, whenever u ready.

Sorry to bother you again I want to know that in "attach documents" only consent form is required to attach?
Or the scanned copy of the sponsor's PR card should also be attached.
and in validation step no signatures from sponsor is not required?

Am I doing something wrong. Please guide me here.
