Yeahh ... I'm planning to send them more pics. Going to wait for the notes though - inshaaAllah something good comes up!

Last time I emailed London some pics I never received their auto-reply (I used their email address, not the CIC portal) ... Not sure if anyone else had the same issue.

it should be in London. Did you ask you PM or order notes? I ordered notes and still waiting for them. I applied in April 2013 so i think its time to order notes.

how did you contact him and what exactly do you ask him or her?

I used the cic portal and got their automated response right away and then they notified me twice after 5 days and 10 days that they got my stuff. may be ap k hisey ki email bhi mujhy ker di . may be use portal this time. i even dont have any more pictures to send, i think i need to visit pak again

how did you contact him and what exactly do you ask him or her?
what can they do ?

I called my local MP office, and requested them to get the info from CIC about my file. However, I already call CIC call center but they didnt give me any answer. so I would suggest you to call CIC call center first and see if they give you any info other wise call MP office and order notes.

however, some of the members do not have any good experience with MPs but try your luck. I ordered my notes and waiting to get them so I can be assured where my file is. hope it helps.

Hello Forum, New to the forum. Kindly someone help me with a question or actually two

My application (Spousal) has recently been transferred to LVO from Mississauga office. I am a Canadian citizen. Kindly advise if I were to move to Pakistan till my spouse has received visa, is that ok?

Also do I need to fill some other types of forms or a letter to LVO stating I am moving to Pakistan till the visa processing is undergoing? Thanks

You're a citizen so there is no restrictions on your mobility as a Canadian.
I don't see an issue with you moving to Pk to be with her. On a side note, London does seem to be faster in processing cases than the Islamabad Office.

Just post here whatever you don't understand.

Check out the last 1-3 pages, specially the COMMENTS or NOTES section. It should have some comments about case.

Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Starrted
...
Criminality: Not Started
...

PAPER FILE
Office: London
Paper File#: **********
Location: PA - PUT AWAY

I am guessing PUT AWAY means they have put it aside and will open it later ? There aren't any notes in the last 1 - 3 pages suggesting they have started processing. Are there any other things I should look for ?

Also, my wife's medical expired earlier this month. Should I ask her to do the remedical herself or wait for CIC to request the medical ?

What do you see in the comments / notes section towards the end of the GCMS report?

Take a look at those pages and see any comments/notes by CPC-M.

If you read the notes, take your time, you'll start seeing different times/dates at which time things were done.

There are main sections, such as ASSESSMENTS, ELIGIBILITY, CORRESPONDENCE, NOTES, etc.

From the notes, I can see my file being received in Missisauge and then transferred to London Visa Office from Islamabad. No updates since. I will order notes again soon.

zindagi, I got the notes within 30 days. I applied on April 28.

I think it will be fine as long as you can satisfy the immigration officer that once your wife receives the visa you will move back
for e.g. if you have property in Canada or a Business.

I believe you do not have to notify LVO.
