mine is a wife case from pakistan
applied in january 2013
second medical application just received May 14th
just wondering if anyone knows what happens next?

My case filed in August 2013
and i received remedical request April 2014
Medical done May 2014

I was going to but then again I wasn't sure which portal to use..london or islamabad..
Plus, I was gona send in hard copies of my boarding passes and stuff...I guess I can scan those in as well.

My wife sent another package back in Jan 2014 for the trip I made in Dec 2013...she didnt get any confirmation whether that package was received...any suggestions how to track that package? I have the TCS tracking number and stuff which states it was delivered successfully tho...

You dont need to worry about your file. Your file is in London. From last 8-9 Months. Now LVO is responsible for family sponsorship for Pakistani applicants.
Islamabad Visa office only responsible for visit and student visa.

So whatever u and your wife want to send. send to LVO.

This is what I got for CIC people, now what does that mean: in process or nothing??? are they currently sonducting my husband's background checks or its like a general kind of statement???

looking at the current speed of chc london , how long will it take for jul, aug , sep 2013 applicant, Is there is any chance pakistan time like can move down to 18 or 15 months , does anyone have latest figures ?

I would read it more as of a general statement that they are conducting background checks on your husband...which includes criminal checks, employment history, education etc..since its a husband case they probably do a much more comprehensive check compared to a wife case.

However the plus point here is that the guy says 80% of app in this stage (which you are at right now) takes approx 11 months from date of completion which was May 2013. So you are closing in iA...

I am starting to believe that files moving to London was a really good thing...unfortunately the backlog is ridiculous so even London will take time to process..but the absolute hopeless and annoying Islamabad Embassy scenario is out of the picture

I remember in 2012 when they sent email to give an appointment for my husbands interview they also called him to verify that he got the email. Also they told him another Visa Officer may call me, so yes they do make calls. Nothing is definite with them. Just when you think you got it all covered they throw another wrench into the plans. I know from what I have been reading here that the ones who's files have been sent to UK I really think its lucky for you all In Sha Allah. May Allah make it possible for all of us to be with our loved ones soon In Sha Allah

There is no FIRST come first serve in London.

This is total unfair they are ignoring people who are waiting for last two years or more but
they are sending PPR to selected applicants of their choice to whom they sent Medical earlier.
