applied in january 2013
second medical application just received May 14th
just wondering if anyone knows what happens next?

You need to get a medical exam appointment, go through the medical exam. The examiner will forward the results to CIC after that they will send you 1st stage ppr to scan and send your passport to London visa office. Followed by asking you to send your passport to Islamabad office for visa stamping.

Thank you but i was just wondering if they call you and ask about the validity of your relationship and some short questions on the phone or not?

I hope so yaar! Seriously inshaaAllah I hope we all get re-meds and ppr sooon!! My file was transferred in Feb. 2014. Looking at this trend I'm sure they do not follow First-In First-Out policy ... rather a batch of files given to the officer either by when the app. was filed (to Mississauga) OR by last or first name. ...... Unless re-med requests are sent by administrative support staff preparing to forward the file to the reviewing officer.

Faisal bhai, in August 2013 our files went from Ottawa to Islamabad and then they were mass-transferred from Islamabad to London in February 2014. You and I have exact same timeline! ;D They sent our files to Islamabad the same day they mailed us our original documents back i.e. August 2013

Faisal bhai, in August 2013 our files went from Ottawa to Islamabad and then they were mass-transferred from Islamabad to London in February 2014. You and I have exact same timeline! ;D They sent our files to Islamabad the same day they mailed us our original documents back i.e. August 2013

if thats the case i guess you are next in line because my wife's medical was done in december 2012 first, and our wedding took place in may 2012 so we took our time gathering documents to perfection and then we applied.

Hey guys,

In my application I put the visa office to be in Islamabad, but when I called to confirm, they notified me that it went straight to London from Mississauga.

Is there a specific forum that has people who are in this exact situation?

I understand that there is a forum topic for those who have an application that is waiting in Islamabad and there is also the one right here that is for people who had an application that was sent to Islamabad to London. However, is there one for those who have an application that went straight to the London visa office?

Also, now that my application is in London, is this good news? Does this mean that the wait time will be less than the regular wait time?

It looks like it will be faster than Islamabad. I also have your situation and my file was transferred to London as well. Its sad that there isn't a forum for those ppl that are directed straight to London?

Hi guys...

I applied back in March 2013 and ecas shows "application received".
I want to know if my file is transferred to London or not. I recently got my ruksati/reception done so want to send in additional pics/doc etc.

Where and who should I email just to get info as to where my file really is...I have ordered the notes already.

Thanks for any help/advice nd I pray that all of us be reunited with our spouses soon, inshAllah...do NOT lose patience ppl...!

i will say call the Call Centre telephone number: 1-888-242 2100. ask the agent the location of your file.he will let you know or e.mail london office for your status.
