Write an email to your visa processing office which you mentioned on your application. Definitely they will tell you where is your file at that point of time.

Well I initially sent my application to Mississauga and then the file went to Islamabad...
I already emailed Islamabad office and no one has replied...and mississauga office doesn't have any email contact listed online....or atleast I can't seem to find it..

Is there anyone in this group who knows their file is sent to London but the ecas doesn't state anything? are there any such scenarios? Just curious...

In my application I put the visa office to be in Islamabad, but when I called to confirm, they notified me that it went straight to London from Mississauga.

Is there a specific forum that has people who are in this exact situation?

I understand that there is a forum topic for those who have an application that is waiting in Islamabad and there is also the one right here that is for people who had an application that was sent to Islamabad to London. However, is there one for those who have an application that went straight to the London visa office?

Also, now that my application is in London, is this good news? Does this mean that the wait time will be less than the regular wait time?

I noticed that London Visa Office is no longer sending automated reply (system generated) which says your query will be replied within 28 calender days ... or is it just me? I emailed London last month a few attachments of which I didn't receive their confirmation of receipt email (which is system generated). Anyone else experience the same thing?

Did u sent it by cic portal or through email..coz I did by portal and in a minute I got automated reply that they received the info..but after 2days I got an email from London immigration that there wasn't any attachment and they didn't receive the attachments but they received the portal info n all n they said that wait until they asked for additional docs so I didn't send them back again..n waiting to hear from them soon anything inshAllah

everyone's file is going to London now .. even the ones who applied end of 2011 and the one's from 2012. there is no other forum we all are together .. who knows we don't know how long will it take for London to process our files yet. there were a few lucky ones! but now its all quiet again!

You need to get a medical exam appointment, go through the medical exam. The examiner will forward the results to CIC after that they will send you 1st stage ppr to scan and send your passport to London visa office. Followed by asking you to send your passport to Islamabad office for visa stamping.

Emailing them is usually a waste of time, my file transferred to London visa office and ECAS never changed, heck people here have gotten ppr and their status hasn't change on ecas.
You have already ordered notes, just wait for them and it will confirm that your file is in London. Why don't you upload your recent pics/docs via portal ?

Well what you people think about transfering files from Islamabad to london will reduce the time and Islamabad visa office show 32 month and London show 11 month so which one apply on us as no official statement found on this topic

Hi Forum Members, My File has been forwarded DIRECTLY to LVO on May 02,2014 (From Mississauga). Sadly, I have read a lot with what has happened to people that are waiting for insanely longest time and files has been transferred to LVO and still without much attention. Kindly, help me understand what to expect in coming few months?
. Is there any thread for Pakistani applicants who are DIRECTLY being transferred to LVO?.
. Will LVO send me any communication of file being forwarded? And in approximation how long? In general what to expect now???
. I have noticed in the most recent approval correspondence that my "Sponsor" address "Postal Code" is incorrect. What is the best way to getting it corrected?
. I have submitted photocopies of my spouse educational credentials (not attested, just plain photocopies). Would this be a problem? Anything I can do at this stage?.
. I had medicals of my spouse submitted. which were done in my last year trip to Pakistan. The medicals are expired since may 05,2014. Is it advise-able to re-do the
medicals and submit (to avoid any future delays) or shall we wait till re-medical has been requested???

I believe you should be happy if your file directly sent to LVO it will save your few months atleast. I am sure this is positive.

Plus, I was gona send in hard copies of my boarding passes and stuff...I guess I can scan those in as well.
