Hi Mahrukh, i need a little information ,if you are from karachi , where will you get the translated and attested copy ?? My dad is out of country , before he did everything . Can we get it done from civic center or I hv to go to the high court building near saddar?? Probelum is that I hv already sent urdu original nikkah nama ,I will hvto get translated copy from the photocopy.

I am also from karachi, Gulshan-Iqbal , you can attest it from civic center, before they use to sit inside now they have shops outside civic center, you can attest and translate it in to english.

What is the issue with nikkah nama? I sent my original one .. with a attested photocopy of it ,, and also got it translated in english and i think it was attested as well ..

here is the email I got from LVO after submitting additional supporting documents voluntarily. However, it is an automatic reply but at least they have replied right away, and its been 3 weeks alreay and I didn't get even a single email from ISD after submitting documents to them.

Civic center is Ok ...... Nobody looks at ur original over there at civic center.........I got mine from there.

why are people going to union council to get?

It must be registered with the Union Council who then sends it too NARDA. I know for a fact that CIC Islamabad always checks with the Union Council to make sure they are registered in the area where they are from. Or they start checking every Union Council to make sure there is no other marriage. It must also be translated from Urdu To English

yes mine also tranfer at january10 2014 i think in this month we will get reply hopefully
