Hello Everyone,

I am planning to apply for TRV for my spouse. Does anyone know how far before actually coming to Canada you can apply for TRV ?

Is there a rule that says you can only apply a certain number of months before your planned arrival date?

For example, I am planning to do rukhsati in march and bring my spouse back with me. Should I apply for the TRV now or wait until later ?

Also, does anyone have any tips on what documents/letter to submit for TRV ?

My husband's medical is already expired in May and it's. 16 th month In total I'm also waiting for response
And depressed coz I'm preggo and he is not here

I sponsored my husband in July 2012. my husband first medical expired in May 2012 since then still waiting for remedical request.

These guys seems to be good visa officers... May be I am wrong but one of my relatives case was with them we got to know through GCMS they applied at mid of july 2013 and there visa is done within less than 10 months by mid of April 2014. so anybody being dealt with the same? lets make some insights and analysis

NO you must have a Pass Port with VISA stamped Canada.......

Hey guys

So i emailed london one month ago telling them its been 17 months since we applied and that my file was transferred to london on feb 28. They replied today saying 'please note your application is well within our service standard.' Wonder what that means. Any ideas?

Are they just saying that its normal to be waiting this long? I wish they gave more details

It is because LVO received your file in Feb and that's what they are considering for service standard...

Dear Friends,

11 months timelines for London Visa Office Starts when your file is transferred to London, not when you applied so sit back and relax. If its 11 Months do add 20% to 30% of variation to this time, considering the workload.

Also since Islamabad visa office has sent all pending files to LVO as well. This means more workload. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I haven't heard any thing as yet as well its been 7 months as my file was transferred to London in Jan 14. Lets just keep our hopes high.

WOW 25 months, our case will be 4 years next month. It was a Lawyers fault in Peshawar Dawood Khan who never registered our marriage with Union Council. So it added another year which had its downfall!

So i had applied back in march 2013....sent in all the nikkah info etc..
in feb 2014 file moved to london... (got my ruksati done in april 2014)..

after sending in all the documents/pics as usual...LVO is asking for Nikkah papers and ruksati proofs again...
they sent an email saying we need "Civil documents"..

Anyone else in a similar position? ...

Should I ask them if I can send them a re-med along with the proofs again?...
