How is it possible to know if the interview has been waived? In July 2015, our lawyer send it additional proof of continuing relationship and another meeting without CIC even asking for it. Then end of Aug 2015, we received an updated medical request and two days later the CIC website says the file is in now process. I don't think they just update the site on Tuesdays by the way. Is it true they do not ask for re medical unless they are satisfied of the relationship? My understanding is the medical validity is associated with visa validity so they should not ask for re medicals unless they plan on issuing a visa in the near future?

This process of sponsorship and having an overseas partner is the hardest thing I have experienced. I thank God we have each other and forums like this exist or I'm pretty sure i would not be the only one going pagal!

dont worry m sure ur interview has been wavied bcz they r satisfied with the proofs so m sure after re medical u will get PPR soon in 2 months max

Can we order GSM notes under case specific inquiry or they are two different things? If we missed some information on the family form IMM5645 and CIC does not ask for anything updated, should we redo the form with complete information and send them to London office? Is that will create problem in the processing or not? Its an unintentional mistake while filling up the form.

Thanks for your detailed reply. Definately then I ll not take a chance to apply from overseas. What or the possiblity of visit or study visa? She had done her M. Phill and now looking for Ph. D. Can she get study visa or they will put the same thing that her ties will be stronger in Canada and she will not leave after completion her studies (Which usually they put for visit visa on rejection).

For study/visit visa there are a lot of requirements that need to be met, and it takes time and can be expensive.
Student visa requires admission and payment of international student fees which is quite costly. And the process is long.

Visit Visa can be applied, but what will that do anyway since you're not living here.
I'd recommend her trying for a USA Visit Visa first (let's say she goes with you when you go there for business trip, etc). If she can get that and do a couple of visits to USA, then there would be better chance of getting Cdn visitor visa.

The thing is not to waste money on useless things.
Enjoy your time with wife wherever you are currently. When it's time to move permanently, then apply for PR once you come here, lease an apartment/address, etc and then sponsor.

You will have to get it done from IOM in Karachi.
2nd. You dont have to send it the medical people will send it them unless unless they telll you to send it.
3rd. If you have to mail it yourself you will have to TCS it to LVO

Your question is some what confusing, can you please elaborate..

Do you mean that you are a sponsored person waiting for process to complete, in between this status you want to apply for Visit Visa..

If that is the case no you should not, because it will 1st mostly take the same amount of time and you require a Medical as well.

Yes, my spousal application is in process and it will take time. I want to apply for my spouse visit visa. We did upfront medical examination for family sponsorship. The normal processing time is 60 to 70 days for visit visa. What are the chances are that my spouse will get visit visa if all the documents are complete and I do buy travel medical insurance for her. Thanks

Dear All,

I need some help regarding my Sponsorship application

this is my time line.

I submitted my application on December 21, 2012
and my application was accepted for sponsorship on 17th jan 2013,

after that below updates on my time line.

1.We received ************'s application for permanent residence on December 20, 2012.
2.We started processing ************'s application on September 3, 2014.
3.A decision has been made on **************'s application. The office will contact ************ concerning this decision.11 June 2015.

i sent them a mail regarding the information and they said my application was refused because of below reason:

"A medical exam was requested on 2014/07/08 and again on 2015/02/17. You have not complied with our request for medical examination as per A16(2)(b)."

But the issue is that i didn't receive any Email or mail for medical and getting a refusal on this bases is really frustrating .

i sent a mail to London office for reconsideration but my Email is not going through as it is giving mailbox full error.

i only have 30 days to appeal against the case..

can any body help me for further steps if i want to continue this application as new application will take same amount of time.

Please if some body have any information, Please do help/

Hello Everyone I had gotten a email from CIC saying that my Case was accepted and was transferred to LVO.

Today i checked my case status it says

Sponsorship Application Status Permanent Residence Application Status
**** Decision Made In Process

It says
Permanent Residence

We received ********* application for permanent residence on April 7, 2015.
We started processing ******** application on June 3, 2015.
Does that mean that my case has been opened in LVO.
