Hello..
All members who recently got visas, what about your original documents? How did u got ur documents back?

They gave my husband all his documents back on the day of the interview. Some people are having a problem obtaining their documents though.

Just email LVO and request it. In shaa Allah they will send it soon!

Alhamdullilah i just got email that my passport is back to vfs. yayyy

So its all done all that wait is over, got my passport back today with visa stamped as of 11th March 215.

Here are the time lines

1. App filed 6th Dec 2013
2. File transfered to London 27th Jan 14
3. Addational documents & re medical Feb 15
4. Passport request last week sent straight away
5. Got ppt and visa today effective from 11th March 15.

Overall, 14 Months approximately. Not bad

I am Canadian citizen and my Wife is in Pakistan.

Upfront medical done: Mid December, 2013
Applied: January end, 2014
Application received by LVO: beginning of March, 2014
Additional doc. request: beginning of January, 2015
Re-Medical request: mid. March, 2015
Medical done: end March, 2015
CIC update status to 'in process' and medical results received: first week April, 2015
CIC update status to 'decision made': April 23, 2015

Now, question:

-> CIC placed a line 'We will contact WIFE_NAME with the decision'.

What should we expect now?

We haven't received our passport request yet. How do we know they haven't rejected our case or they might call us for interview?

Any suggestions, please.

Its not rejected, else they wouldn't have asked for re-medical. Expect a passport request soon. Good luck

Salam all,

I am applicant of Oct 2012. AOR received April 2013 and my file was transferred to LVO on June 1st 2014
Today I receive an email in which they are asking following documents

· Original Police Clearance Certificate for my Son from all the districts where he has resided longer than 6 months since the age of 18 years.
· Copy of Mr. Hasnain Akhtar’s (Sponsor) T4 slip and notice of Assessment for the year 2014.
· Copy of complete pages of current Pakistani & Canadian passport for Mr. Hasnain Akhtar.
· Copy of a Letter from Mr. Hasnain’s (sponsor) employer mentioning employment details.

They did'nt ask any thing about my wife and childrens under age 15. Can any body know what does it mean.

Please give me some idea

Hi. My spouse with two kidz were flying to Canada on 20th of april from Lahore. She were refused boarding cause our children ( Canadian Citizens) didnt have NICOP cards. The FIA at the airport said that they need to have NICOP to travel. Even though she had nadra issued birth certificates but that was not enough.

I just dont understand why do you need to have nicop or a cnic to go out of Pakistan. This is suppose to be a prove that one would show when they are entering the country. I mean after all the heart wrecking experiences from cic, now this had to happen. Sad and disappointed.

Another thing to add, FIA also asked her to obtain a Pakistani visa on kidz foreign passport ( Canadian ) which will be another way they will be able to travel out of Pakistan. I still dont get it. Isnt visa suppose to permit you to enter the country. Why we are doing the other way around????? Also is it even legal to get an exit on a visa that has no entry stamp????

FIA also said to her that if she had even applied for the NICOP and can produce receipt of application upon travel they will let the kidz travel out. I mean a receipt would work but birth certificate (Original) issued from the same organization is not enough????

Please keep us updated, hopefully NICOPs(and pak passports) have been applied for your kids.
Re-schedule your tickets so that next time they can proceed without hiccups.
For Canadian citizens, they can dial the assistance number if needed for Foreign Affairs Canada.

I CIC sent Emil in January 2014 that my file is sent to London
But now i get email from DELHIIMMIGRATION @ international. gc.ca to do re medical , police clearance and IMM 3911 ( for Afghanistan )
My question is where I should sent documents to London or Delhi India ? ?

For Afghan nationals the current VO is New Delhi not London or Islamabad. Just follow the email you have got, no need to confuse.

Received Medical request: 11-Feb-2015
Status changes to In-Process: 11-Feb-2015
Medical done: 24-Feb-2015
CIC received Medical results: 8-March-2015
Decision Made: Still Awaiting. I request to senior members to please advise when my status will be change In-process to Decision Made? Any idea?

its just a matter of a month or so . u r very close to get the passport request for Visa.

Send them an email or usually they send it soon after your file is close. every one case is different.
