I applied for my wife last year in February, 2014. I prepared and filed the case my self. Here is the timeline.

Re-medical Request: Jan 13, 2015
Medical Done: Jan 15, 2015

Passport Request: Feb 3, 2015
Passport Submitted at Lahore Visa Office: Feb 04, 2015
Passport Dispatched from Islamabad to Lahore: March, 06, 2015

I hope all other cases also go through and get approved in near future Inshallah.

Hi..
I also applied for my daughter 's passport on 16th march.but returned back with some objections on 30th march. .
Now again going to submit. .but I heard that if ur application is complete they return after 3 weeks. Best of luck

The only thing worries me is that they are travelling in 2 weeks and we dont have passport right now... Is there any ways we can ask them to do it earlie. CHC doesnt pick up phn callss???? ANY IDEAD?

Yes u can...my husband was ill and he invited me on visit visa.
When I applied my visa I also wrote a request application in which I mentioned the details . They asked for my husband medical reports which we submitted and got visa.
Although I was rejected a visit visa before.
So u can ..hope u will get it

Till No response from CIC London. I emailed them 7 days ago about status of my application waiting for there reply. Can anyone share his or her experience.

They were sending them back quite fast the last few weeks.

Same here. ..I am also waiting for my passport. .submitted on 31st March. .

Hi Saimi, we asked (VAC- Lahore) if they could do the service for us. They seemed so confused about processing a minor Cnd passport. Then I and my wife just simply done the TCS. Cause we didnt want to take any chnaces. Hope this helps.

vac lhrf has such a confuse staff who hardly deal their clients with right info
even we have more info than their staff serving us

today i get email from london visa office they said the no crimnal certificate you provided is not valid we want it from police department because that certificate is issued by my university when i contact with university and police deprtment in china they said we never issue police certificate to foreigners only university issue them police only issue to their citzens and its final when chinese says some thing its mean it will never change now i dnt know what to do plz help me

did u contacted via email..you can use that as a proof and forward that email to LVO and ask them to advise u on this matter...
or look for a thread where chinese resident apply for fam sponsorship..

yes i send them that email and all detail univerity admin phone no fax email also because they were saying send this to canadian embassy if they want explanation

Hi..2 day I recieved a cal from VAC to collect my passport. I submitted on 30th March.
