Spousal Class PR, but a former failed refugee can I visit my native country?

Looking for some information. I have recently become a PR through spousal sponsorship when I came to Canada me and my family applied for refugee claim but it was refused. Now I have to visit my native country to get my money from my previous bank accounts. Will I be in trouble if I visit?

Their refugee status was also rejected and currently their PRRA is in process and their H&C application is also filed.

Just to add the recent update. I visited my home country last year in February for a few days to get some work done. When I returned from Portugal yesterday with my husband the CBSA took me aside and asked me questions about did I visit Pakistan and am I in any danger there anymore to which I said no. Not sure why they had to discuss this now while I’m returning from a completely different place. I became a PR through spousal sponsorship my refugee claim along with my parents was all rejected in the year 2020.

Where are your parents now? Are they still in Canada or returned to Pakistan?

Parents got their PR just recently on Humanitarian grounds.. the officer didn’t write anything on my file and realized it fairly quickly that the refugee claim was rejected..

It is because of the flag. you can request it to be removed, otherwise you will be pulled aside at point of entry every-time you travel back.

If it is due to the previous asylum claim it can be removed. If you have travelled after getting PR without getting sent for a secondary inspection your application may have been flagged due to other reasons. If the flag is unrelated to your previous asylum claim but for other reasons you may not be able to remove the flag. Are there other reasons your application could have been flagged? For example not meeting your RO.
