Hi
I have couple of querries regarding the CEC class, requesting for suggestions and help.

I am an international student, now with PGWP and my husband came against my visa with open work permit. After reaching here he got a NOC B listed job, and going to complete 1 year of job by the end of september2019, while his work permit visa is going to expire in october 2019. So once he completed his 1 year job -
1. Can he apply for CEC program?
2. what are the documents needed for applying for this program?
3. If he did the job as being full fime for most of the months, only couple months were part time, with the same employer, then will it going to arise any issue?
4. While application is on the process, is he eligible to continue his current job?

2. what are the documents needed for applying for this program?
3. If he did the job as being full fime for most of the months, only couple months were part time, with the same employer, then will it going to arise any issue?
4. While application is on the process, is he eligible to continue his current job?
1. Yes.
2. You'll need to dedicate time reviewing the information on the IRCC website. There's quite a bit to provide.
3. He needs at least 52 weeks of full time work experience to qualify under CEC. If some weeks were less than 30 hours, he'll need to work additional weeks to arrive at the 52. Any week he worked 30 hours or more can be counted as one full time week. For any weeks he worked less than 30 hours, he'll need to add up the number of hours worked part time and then divide by 30. These two numbers added together are the amount of work experience he currently has out of 52 weeks.
4. As long as he has a valid work permit, yes.

Hi
Thanks a lot for your valuable reply. I have one more doubt -
When he started the job, he used to work more than 30 hours like 40 -45 hours/week. Can we use these extra hours to reach to 52 weeks?
I have heard that in total 1560 hours needed to be completed and they dont count any hours beyond the 30 hours each week. Is that correct? If so, then before his expiry of visa, he wouldnt be able to complete these weeks or hours. Because in between his 1 year of job, he was part time with them for 3 months, and then continue as a full time and working more than 30 hours each week.
