Hi. My spousal applicarion for sponsoring my husband outside of canada was sent in November 6th 2025 and signed and received on November 13th. Does anyone know if and when they will begin processing anytime soon? Im checkingthe orocessing times everyday and not only do i not know when they will begin but the times have drasticaly jumped in the last three weeks from 8months to 26 to 18 to now 17months. We applied for an outside canada application because he currently holds a work visa that would have been more comparable to the 8 month processing figure. But now it seems like he will be at least one year minimum with out a valid work visa if it does run around 17-18 months. He is a citizen of Spain.

Hello, my application was also received by CIC on Nov 13, 2015. I received acknowledgement of receipt email from CIC on Friday. You should hear something soon

did u send all u application by online or by post office? i am really worry. what adress u sent u application? thanks so much for help me out.
 
You can check your application status online. If you do not have your UCI yet, use your PR no. or receipt no.
In our case, CIC didn't send me an e-mail if my application was already received or if I am approved as a sponsor. I just kept on checking our status online. I submitted Oct 28, 2015. I just received a mail today that I was approved as a sponsor. Hope this would help you.
 
I sent it by post and according to canada post it was dated as signed for. Thanks for responding everyone. I only have the receipt number so far which is what i am using to check online. I sent it to cpc mississauga, po box 3000 station A, ontario, L5A-4N6. I hope that was correct!!

It shows the application received, the date it was received, my spouse's name and any dependants listed. Also says in process
