Wait for the rules/requirements to be posted in the next couple of weeks. You need to show that you have income so NOA (not bank account) to pay for a full time caregiver. Child can apply for study visa too.

Who is currently looking after the child, if you’re both working fulltime ?

And if it happens. She’s an employee. You as the employer pays all the employer deductions for the payroll taxes . EI CPP federal provincial taxes . And you have to look at the wages . You can’t undercut her wages because she’s your sister

Sounds like you need a babysitter during the time your spouse is at work , versus a full time home support worker , more so the child is in school fulltime .

And yes, your husband will have to take care of the child while you’re at work or not around

Doesn’t make sense you’ll go to all the expense of hiring your sister when the child is in school fulltime

Just pointing out things the IRCC looks at

Do you need funds in your account?
You need your noa showing you can afford to hire them in the first place

So if he is in school then why do you need a full time caregiver? Husband is home on the weekends, and is the parent so looks after the child. Need before and after school care.

Ok. Thanks for replying. So it means that I will not be eligible to sponsor her. But my other sister who has 11 months old child and she is going to work fulltime after her maternity and her husband works fulltime. Is she be eligible to apply for her.
Thanks

No, doesn’t mean you cannot give you a job offer but IRCC will scrutinize the application for a need for a full time caregiver since child is in school and you don’t even have a FT caregiver now and b) why can’t she immigrate through economic programs. Family applications are reviewed more thoroughly.

So same for your other sister. Both parents are working so why not daycare? Seems like you are trying get a sibling to Canada who doesn’t meet economic program standards.

Express Entry based on age, education, language and work experience. Honestly not much of a chance with the cuts to immigration numbers unless fluent in French and English. She can apply for HCCP if she is eligible. Have all documentation ready.

For a chance they’ll need to show that they have the extra disposable income (40k+) and why they would need full-time private childcare. Processing may take years so they would have to show you had the same caregiving needs up to when the application is assessed. Why it would make sense financially and for other reasons to pay for private care. For example if both spouses work shift work it can be difficult to find daycare.
