hello im a Canadian citizen who is going to move to Canada when i turn 18 to study there.. i was wondering if i can sponsor my older brother who is 28 to come with me, is there any way?

You cannot sponsor your brother because he is 28 years.

But you can sponsor him if eligible by the following :

you can sponsor one relative regardless of age or relationship only if you do not have a living spouse or common-law partner, conjugal partner, a son or daughter, parent, grandparent, sibling, uncle, aunt, nephew or niece who could be sponsored as a member of the family class, and you do not have any relative who is a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident or registered as an Indian under the Indian Act.

If not, there are other methods how your brother can get in to Canada. Read CIC website:

im sorry i dont get it, my parents are alive , i have uncles and aunts.. but non of them live or are in Canada.. so would he go under that ?

If your parents are alive - then no, he can't sponsor you.
