Sponsorship not approved till now

I received AOR, 5 months back.
After that I did not received any updates like sponsor approval ?. anyone in similar situation ?
anyone have any idea for such long delay ?

@canuck_in_uk , @canuck78 and @scylla can you help ?

Very hard to comment. We would need the full profile of the sponsor to know if there's anything there that might have triggered a longer review. Have they ever been on social assistance? Have they ever sponsored someone else? Are they a citizen or PR? If PR, Hhw did they obtain PR? Where are they living? Any potential criminality issues? Etc.

Did the sponsor have a relationship of any kind with their current spouse before immigrating to Canada under CEC?
