Hii, i know this is not easy, this wait, and especially not knowing what the outcome will be. Do not sit back and just wait, take all measures available to you and make the inquiries, call your MP, e-mail them, if you do not hear back, repeat. You are entitled to have your MP do what is possible on your behalf, after all our taxes pay their salaries.

I did contacted my local MP, I called Immigration Minister's office in Ottawa and Toronto and all they said is to wait "MY FILE IS IN Q TO BE REVIEWED BY DECISION MAKING OFFICER'.
I also consulted with couple different lawyers and told me the same thing you "YOU SHOULD GET REPLY SOON SO WAIT" and no1 knows how much more should i wait.:(

Inchallah you will get some news soon, I understand you hurt, I hope you have good friends and family here to talk to, sometimes its just good to say things out loud. If you can, try to sign up for some night classes, for anything really, language courses, or art classes, really anything to fill your time to help cope.

Thnxz so much...

Salam and hello,

I know exactly how you feel as we have been waiting now its over 37 months.

The lawyer who signed our Nikka Papers never Registered them with the Union Council of Pakistan so can you imagine something like this happening.

CIC Islamabad found this out in July and my husband received a letter saying he maybe refused as he misrepresented himself. A new Marriage Certificate had to be made and filed as the original one was with CIC Immigration. He got all signatures from original witness and my permission for the Scholar to sign my name with a letter stating this along with a letter from my lawyer stating this fact too as I had a copy of the original Marriage Certificate.
The original lawyer signed a document stating he gave false information to my husband and still continues to sign Nikka Papers and never registering them and he gave this statement to Union Council as well.
Another lawyer put his stamp and signature.
My husband also wrote a letter stating this fact that had he known he was not allowed to sign the papers he would never have gone to him.

I just pray and hope Immigration will see and read all this and request his Pass Port In Sha Allah. As the Visa Officer said in Dec/13 that she was satisfied that it was a genuine marriage.

So please have patience and order your notes and pray that this process will be done soon In Sha Allah.... What is your timeline? May Allah help us all In Sha Allah
