Hi everybody,

I am Suhaib from Pakistan, and currently planning to further my education in Canada. I have applied to Sheridan College for a graduate certificate. The only choice I have to prove my financial status is through a sponsor. A relative of mine is willing to sponsor me and show any financial proofs that would be required.
As per the current strictness in Canadian visas to Pakistan, I wanted your suggestions, as to strengthen my profile.

Is it okay to apply for a college to get a study permit, and being financially sponsored by a relative which is not a direct blood relationship? What would be required to prove the relationship?

Please help me out with this.

Thanks!

Who is this relative? What is their relationship to you?

Thank you so much for your reply.
Oh yess! Got it! So, is that okay? And would I still have to show my statements, or only sponsor’s would be fine?
