Hi,

I am filling up the sponsorship evaluation form and I am not quite sure on what to write. Here are my concerns:

1. Is the personal net income refers to the amount that goes to the bank?
2. The form requires my income for the last 12 months prior too my application, will I include my income from my country of origin if I have just been here in Canada for less than a year?

Appreciate all the help.

You net income is the average monthly income you bring home (after taxes are taken out) for the 12 months period prior to the submission of the application. If you have been in Canada for less than a year, you can factor in the money you made in your home country by converting it to CDN dollars to come up with a 12 months figure.

Thank you RobsLuv.

I also had another question in a separate post but I am still not receiving any feedback on it, would you care to answer if you also know it.

Since spousal sponsorship doesnt need minimum income requirement, do you think showing at a bank account of my spouse in our home country will suffice to let them know that we would not be depending on welfare when he comes here. Do you know any other means of proving it?

Thank you.

If you lived in Canada the option C printout form revenue Canada is enough proof of income. If you lived outside the country send them bank statements or payslips that proof income.

Thank you mobeyk. So it is not important that I don`t meet the minimum income as long as I have source of income then.
