Hi guys!
Quick recap of our situation: I am canadian, married to an american living in the US. we have two kids.

I am filling out the sponsorship eval (IMM5481) and not sure how to fill it out!
Since I am a stay at home mom I am unemployed. I guess I have to put my net personal income for the past year as $0? or do I put my husbands salary in there?

For undertakings: 5a) would be one,my husband
I have no previous undertakings so B would be empty.
6b would be 2 for my kids?

Thanks guys, I dont want to screw this up!!

The sponsorship form is generic - it applies to ALL sponsorship applications, some of which have strict income requirements. There is no income requirement for sponsored spousal applications (with that said, there are circumstances where the sponsorship includes grandchildren and THAT does invoke income requirements - not applicable in your case).

So you need to jump through the hoops and include that information. If you've filed a US income tax return, send along a copy of it (this works especially well if you are married filing jointly, since it will show your spouse's income) - they don't need all the schedules, just the 1040 itself should be sufficient.

All CIC cares about is that you won't require social assistance.

Yes, (5a) would be 1 (your spouse) and (6b) would be 2 (your children).

I am sponsoring my wife, our kids are Canadian. Do I put 2 for our kids on 6A?

So it would be: 4)1 ME 5A) 1 my wife and 6A) 2 my children for a total at the bottom of 4? confussing@@

any idea about this

On my wife's form imm 5481

3. your net personnel income " wifes gross is $80k "

Plus dates preceding this application

Do we out dates from " January 2012 to January 2013 "

If I'm sending the application in February 2013

As she's not filled for the 2012 tax year how much should she write in the Net wage?
