I will be sponsoring my husband (us citizen) I am just wanting to clarify the fee... Ive been told its just over 500 by someone but ive been told over a grand by someone else. I look at the site and I see $475 fee for the applicant and then a $75 fee for the application so does it cost $550 or is there any other costs? I know the medical and so on cost money I am just talking about the fees for applying tho.

Thanks in advance.

The total fee will be $1040.

Sponsor: $75
Principal applicant: $475
Right of Permanent Residence fee: $490

You can wait to pay the RPRF until the visa office asks for it, but that can cause delays. I'd recommend paying everything upfront, to prevent any hassle.
