This is really confusing to me and I'd like to have it correct.
We are applying as spouses, I am 20 and they are 19.
Should be enough info?

Correct me if I am wrong. In this case, the processing fee consists the following :

1) The $75 for the sponsor
2) $75 for the principal applicant (OP) who is a under 22 years of age and not married or in a common-law or conjugal relationship

And the above have to be paid before the application is submitted, and proof sent with the application. The $490 RPRF can be deferred until later in the process - you can pay it at any time, or wait for them to request it, but they won't issue the visa until it's been received.

If I am correct, you are a married couple, age 20 & 19?? Of so, then you would pay $75 for the sponsorship as well as the application fee of $475.

Also you will have to pay the RPRF fee of $490, but it can be paid at the end if you prefer.

75 Sponsorship application (per application)
475 Principal applicant
490 Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)

If you chose to wait to pay the RPRF it generally holds up the issuance of your visa by many weeks. I have seen some people on here wait 2+ months from the time they pay it to when the visa is issued. It is your choice to pay that afterward though.

I am not sure why you would think that this applies to the OP.... You cannot apply through spousal sponsorship if you are "not married, CL, or conjugal".

So, is the OP married? Last month, he told us that he's getting married.

It doesnt matter if he isnt married today, when they submit he plans on being married.... they cant apply through SPOUSAL sponsorship until they meet one of the three ways - marriage, common law or conjugal. So when they apply they need to know the correct amount.
