sponsoring PR for wife and kid

Hi,

I stayed in Canada from the year 2009 to 2012. During this time, i have applied for PR and received it in July 2012.

1) I did my landing in Canada as PR right after getting my PR in July 2012. Due to intra company transfer i have left Canada in Oct 2012 and joined the Indian office. I have been working in India since then. I am planning to enter Canada again in December 2014.

Is it going to be a problem for me at the immigration when i enter Canada in December 2014, as i have not stayed in Canada for 2 years after getting my PR?

2) I got married in the year 2013 and now we have a kid. I would like to sponsor my wife and kid, a month after entering Canada (say in January 2015). Will there be any problem in sponsoring them, as i have not stayed in Canada for almost 2 years after getting my PR.

No, it's not a problem. The residency obligation is two years out of FIVE. You certainly may return problem free, and also apply for your family once back in Canada problem free.

You do have to stay in Canada while your wife and child's PR application is ongoing. But I think that's the only restriction.

Yes you are fine. Just make sure you return way before Oct 2015 and then be prepared to stay in Canada for the entire duration of the sponsorship.
