It was informative and it's good to know about their procedures, eventhough it did not say anything about those who have applied in May 2011 who have not received ANY replies from CIC yet...

I also applied in mid of June. No reply yet. Please post it here if anyone got anything.

Acknowledgements of Receipt have been issued for all sponsorship applications received and accepted by CPC-M before the Temporary Pause on Family Class Sponsorship Applications for Parents and Grandparents came into effect.
 
Hi. Question: my parents are already 65 yrs old. Can i still sponsor them to live in canada?? Also, can an in law sponsor them? My husvand a canadian citizen hopes to be their sponsor

1. You can sponsor them, and your spouse is the co-signer.
2. You have to meet the LICO + 30% for 3 years to be eligible.
3. The Parents sponsorship will re-open in January 2015 and again probably have only 5K spaces.
