current timelines is 61 days after landing but in case they ask for another set of photo then abother 2 months you can add...

usually it is valid until the end of medical (one year after doing it), so if they did their medical test in march 2017, the pr visa will valid until march 2018 and so on.

Hey all..not sure if this is the right place but have a couple of questions..
I am gathering my documents for sponsoring my parents and having some trouble with IMM1344 form.
1. When i validate, it says everything is good and form has been validated. However, when i try to reopen the same form, it says that it is no longer validated because of an error with the cosigner contact information. The country code (chose as Canada/US) is automatically populated as "+1" but the validation error indicates that I have entered the country code as "11". Wondering if anyone else has run into these issues. I have tried the form completion from 3 different laptops/computers and its always the same
2. Does it matter if I put in my dates on the computer and then validate, print, sign and courier to my parents and they are handwriting the date when they sign?
3. Although the forms version is 06/2017 has anyone noticed that the barcode comes dated 2014?

Hi all, I just checked the ecas page and the status changed from this:

Apparently CIC has sent out some correspondence on August 15, 2016 and January 4, 2017. My parents did not receive anything at their home address. I have been checking the ecas page regularly and these new messages appeared just now...
Anyone else had the same issue? who can i contact to find out what the required documents are? the application is being processed in Ottawa...

Hi Karamba,
When did your parents receive medical and PC requests? CIC could've just updated your parents' account by adding those lines.
They haven't been asked for police certificates yet. The medical request came on 4 January 2017 (i got an email from CPC Ottawa) and results submitted within a month.
The ECAS has been stuck on "Medical results have been received" for ages.. until recently they added two back-dated status updates saying "We sent correspondence on ......."
Just checked again today and saw a "Decision Made" status! Finally, after almost 2 years!
P.S. I was mistaken about PC. They did request them last year.
