Anyone else waiting for South Africa Visa office in Pretoria?

I read on Facebook today that one of the Doctor's office in Pretoria is processing immigration medicals at a rate of 900 per month ::) CRAZY!!

My parents told me that they received email from CIC saying that their medicals were received but they still waiting for SAPS for police Clearance Certificates so that is probably holding their application back :(

Thanks.

Yes, it's rocking for now, at least for PGP. According to the SS, it also seems to follow timelines (2014 files first, then 2015 and perhaps 2016 in near future).

I don't think if they are following any timelines, lots of friends from 2016 got PPR but ppl from 2011 are still waiting.

That is true indeed. It seems to me the Singapore office clearly favors newer applications over the old ones that were submitted to them under the old rules. Maybe the stricter income requirements give them more confidence to approve 2014-2016 files and yes they don't care about the dates of receipt; once the file is deemed complete they will shoot out visa ready letter right away.

Congrats Rossie!! My mom just had her kidney ultrasound last week. I'm hoping that the doctor will submit the result by this week. How long did it take from when you submit the ultrasound result to get the PPR from Singapore?

Remember back in June we discussed the PGP quota at Singapore and predicted 2015 files will be given visas towards the end of 2016. Now it's August and September and 2015 files are already getting the visas from them one by one, Rossei.
We are so lucky guys and girls to have parents here so soon.

I am not favouring anyone, but I STRONGLY believe this is the best way to move forward, whichever file is complete, don't hold on to them for issuing visa, just give them visa and move on,,,,, at least there won't be any back log like earlier days, when parents waited 7 years to get to see their families. That was BS,,,, the old rules were based on date system, like 2010 will get visa before 2011, but then the visa officers are sitting there and waiting for the incomplete applications, so they can get other docs to process them and in the mean time new applications are building up the pile.

I am happy for 2016 applicants if they getting PPR, its very positive.....

Thanks broham. You and SPVG are only SVO applicants remaining.

My mom didn't have to ultrasound.

Medical Requested: 10-Aug-2016
IME Done (incl. X-Ray, blood & urine): 17-Aug-2016 (London)
Additional Tests Done (Diabetes & Creatinine blood test): 23-Aug-2016 (Sarnia)
Docs (PCC etc.) Received by SVO: 26-Aug-2016
Medical result uploaded by Doctor: 6-Sep-2016
Medical Passed (MyCIC): 8-Sep-2016 (as if they were only waiting for medical)
Passport Requested: 12-Sep-2016

PS: The doctor delayed to upload medical results at least by a week. I had to contact them few times. The clinic sent me a copy of my mom's additional tests result which shows her creatinine was in normal range.

Congrats to all who their PPRs. We wish you all the best. Hoping ours will come soon.

Rossei, I have tried a couple of times to link my application to MYCIC but no luck. Not sure why. Anyone on the same boat?

Guys i went back to MYCIC and left the city and country of birth blank and it linked. Thanks Rossei for the tips.

Hello everyone,
Is there anyone from NDVO - 2015 applicants who have received passport requested or visa issued. Just wondering , how long they take to stamp visa and return the passport.

Thanks
