What if you got a baby after you submitted the application. Does it mean, that person must meet LICO for 5 people for all the years as well or does it start LICO for year baby came until PR is completed?

If a baby comes after submitting the app, you would need to start meeting +1 LICO amount starting the year the child was born in.

Could someone help me please? I'm having issues with form IMM5768E - Financial Evaluation.
What do I have to put in box 8 "Minimum Necessary Income"? Is for family of three I have to add a total of $46,354+$45,040+$44,229 from a Federal Income Table for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship?
It has been answered before. Write only 2013 (most recent) LICO.

Next question is box 9. If I have e.g. $50,000 in 2013, $55,000 in 2012 and $60,000 in 2013 I have to add them up and input a total of these three (plus total of the same three amounts for my wife since she's a co-signer)?
I don't have any idea what you're seeing in IMM5768.

In Q9, there are 3 different boxes for 2011, 2012 & 2013. If your wife is a co-signer; you will have to add your income with hers for corresponding year and put in each box.

Your questions have already been answered above. There's no need to post again.

You need to meet LICO for 4 people for all three years (2011, 2012, 2013). It doesn't matter when you and your wife got married.

Thank you for the response, you are correct.

I called CIC this morning to confirm. They said that I have to meet LICO+30% for 4 people for the years 2011, 2012, 2013, regardless of the fact that my family size was 3 persons for those years.
It seems I will now have to apply in 2017 because that is when I will meet the financial requirements to be able to sponsor both my parents. I hope this rule changes somewhat though or at least the application processing time is less in the future.
In the meantime we will have to do with Super Visa....

Hope this information helps others!

If I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring my parents and my parents a US permanent resident residing in the USA but Indian citizenship, where will the application be processed (Canada, US, or India)? Since the latest version of the IMM008 generic form does not have the box to select visa office, will CIC pick one of these randomly? Please help me understand. Thanks in advance.

Is anyone sending a cover letter along with their application? I've read in different places that it could be helpful.

Thanks. Here is the form cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5768E.pdf
What do I put in box 9 (Total income available to sponsor)? Sum of content of three cells in h row from Table 16 plus sum of all three cells in row h from Table 19 (E.g. $20,000+$30,000+$40,000+$50,000+$60,000+$70,000)????

As I keep telling you, there are 3 SEPARATE BOXES FOR 3 CONSECUTIVE YEARS 2011, 2012 & 2013 IN QUESTION 9 of IMM5768E (Nov, 2014) form.

Download the latest form from Application Package for Parents' Sponsorship. Here is the link:

Now that you tell me, I'm interested. Where have you seen such examples?

In other topics here in the forum, I don't remember where exactly. They say it's not mandatory but it could help explain things faster to the agent dealing with the file, like who's the sponsor and who is the applicant and dependants, etc,...

What's the best way to pay the fee...by giving credit card number or certified cheque?

CIC will not accept certified cheques or bank money orders. You can only pay for it online by credit card or through the bank. Paying the fee online is the best option. However if you are planning on paying for it through the bank, you must order an receipt IMM5401 from CIC. Use this form to pay the fee at the bank. You send in the receipt bank slip to CIC.

Don't spread wrong information @screech339

Check Fee Payment Form [IMM 5770] http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5770E.PDF

Clearly states that method of payment could be Certified Cheque or Credit Card, please update your knowledge before guiding others, no offense.

Thanks,
