Woaaaa this is getting way out of hand. There is no way anyone can tell yet if the cap is filled based on a handful of responses here. My guess is that CIC's methodology is not that accurate as to process each application exactly as it arrived to the minute. I imagine that they have a stack to get through that all arrived in say a two hour window. Then they go on to the next batch......and so on. It looks to me like they just picked up the Fed-ex batch and started going through that first......hold tight people!

This makes sense. Can't envision a scenario when they receive 10 applications in bulk delivery but only with 5 spots left. In that case, I'm sure they get all 10 processed.

I am 100% sure all Jan 2 Applications will be accepted. Do not worry about time. Last year Applications reached on Jan 21 made the cutoff.

I am 100% sure all Jan 2 Applications will be accepted. Do not worry about time. Last year Applications reached on Jan 21 made the cutoff.

The only reason the cutoff made it that long last year was because of a huge applications being rejected due to incomplete application and people not following the guideline checklist as stated (scanned signatures, 2010,2011,2012 Option C printouts missing, missing signatures, missing forms, etc). So a lot of applications sent later in the week managed to get in the cap in place of the rejected applications. These people whose applications got returned due to incompleteness, will not make the same mistake twice.

Hard to blame Purolator. They probably got there in time. It's not their fault that the line up was long and it took time to get it in the CIC rep's hand. They did wait in line for over a couple of hours. I'm anxious aseveryone else here, but some perspective ...

Now my question to those whose application has been credited- did u fill out your forms yourself or did you use a representative?

I have filled all the forms on behalf of my parents and I also used Use of Representative form.

Stop spreading the rumors.. It's my opinion, Most of the guys who have submitted there application by Jan 5th, should be fine. Again its just a guess, we will have to wait for CIC news and see what they have to say about it.

If CIC is rejecting files just for minor mistakes, rejection ratio is going to be pretty high, Personally I feel no one is perfect and most of us have done minor mistakes when we filled the forms. just keep your fingers crossed and be optimistic.

No single application recieved by Purolator at 8:45am on Jan.2nd has been charged! This is so frustrating... I am afraid the actual delivery time is on the next day !!

Agree with you. Seems to me that 8:45 AM Delivery time was just selected for convenience sake. Hopefully we get good news in the next coming days. Hang on people.
