I sent for the first time my package on december, 30th. They said that it will not arrive before January, 2nd but finally my package arrived on december 31th. I had to send another package on january, 2nd and now I have seen ''Out for delivery'' since yesterday but it has not been arrived until now

Which means CANADA POST will do exactly the opposite of what we want...

I'm soooo angry, I sent my application on December 30 xpresspost (2 days delivery) still not delivered
This is what the tracking shows since January 2:
Location : MISSISSAUGA
Description : Item processed at local delivery facility Additional Information: The item has arrived at the destination facility for final sorting before delivery. Look for an "Out for Delivery" scan today or tomorrow to know when delivery will occur. You can also sign up for email notifications.

I am on the same situation so frustrated. I used Priority mail, next day mail. I sent it December 31st, until now there is no update in the system. I will call Canada Post later today.

One of the reasons why I don't trust Canada Post to deliver very important documents/mail/package. I would be willing to pay UPS, Purolator or even DHL over Canada Post.

Is everyone who uses Canada Post have issues with their delivery. Has anyone else had any issues with 3rd party couriers as well?

I should have done that. I won't trust Canada Post ever again after this.

I send my docs yesterday just 1 min before Purolator closed at 6-30 pm. Delivered today 8-57.
Was waiting for docs from my mam send by UPS. They supposed to be delivered on Dec 30, but just delievered on Jan 5. Never again use UPS!

I used Canada Post (Xpresspost). Sent application on December 31st around noon from Oakville. It was received by CIC on January 2nd at 11:50 am

I will request for a refund, they told me I could do that if it is not delivered within expected delivery time. I was assured it would be delivered January 2nd, and should not be later than January 5th.

I used Purolator, next business 10.30am guaranteed delivery for $19. They delivered at 8.45am on Jan 2.

I used UPS from Winnipeg Manitoba, paid $33.72 they guaranteed one business day delivery with signature!
Sent Friday Jan 2 11:24 am and received Monday Jan 5 8:13 am ....I even have the name of the person who signed for it!!

Won't hesitate to use UPS again

You are lucky. My application was submitted Friday Jan 2 via UPS and was delivered only today. It was in Concord all Monday (while was delivered to Concord on Friday evening).
