Call CIC, they will tell you if your app was received and complete
Seems like agents do not provide rankings anymore. They can only say if there are notes and if the application was received.

Hi ak_indi,

my application reached there on Jan 2nd 11:33 am by FedEx. No cc change yet. When I called FedEx on Jan 2nd they told me the application reached after 12:30 pm due to line up. The driver scanned it before the signature. Do you know who signed when they delivered your application? When I called CIC yesterday they just told me that CIC received it on Jan 2nd, no completeness , no #. Do you know anyone's 11:33 FedEx application had credit card changed ? Hopefully we are still in the cap .
No ss85, i have no clue when it was actually delivered but i have seen later Fedex delivery stamps being charged. There is also a few Fedex delivered at 12 noon and later with CC charged.
I called Fedex and they said the time stamp is when they handed it to CIC not when driver reached there. Lets keep fingers crossed and keep each other posted.

All applications delivered on Jan 2nd made the 5000 cap, based on information I collected so far.
Also by end of the first open day, 5000 complete applications were not reached.
Stick around~~~
Curious to know what makes u believe/think that all Jan 02 apps would be within 5000 cap ? On the contrary, based on the note# of few members of this forum; i think 12 noon would be the time around when they received more than sufficient to reach the cap. I understand that urs reached after 12..Do u have ur note # ?

Believe it or not, CIC didn't sort out the order for first day packages because the total didn't exceed 5000 on that day.

How come you know that? When did they get 5000 applications then? Complete or not.

My application accepted in the afternoon around 1:20PM, cc availability just reduced around $1100. Phoned CIC yesterday, # on my case is 24XX. Still have plenty room left for Jan 2.
I checked my cc balance only because I saw ppl around my time slot get charged. I think they do process by timestamp. My guess is that courier like UPS faked the time.

Do you honestly think that the delivery guy will just past the parcels, one by one to CIC while thousands of parcels in his truck along with a few delivery trucks waiting behind him? It is still possible that there may be more than 5000 on the first day by having the delivery guy dumping the parcels all at once and walk away. And the next delivery guy repeating the same thing and the next. I wouldn't be surprised if there were over 5000 parcel on the first day.

All packages were originally put in order. But the total didn't exceed by the time CIC closed the door.
So all first day applications just simply marked Jan 2nd received.
The countdown also marked.

That's my guess too. 5000 reached in first day.
