Hi,
I am currently a PR holder. I am sponsoring my mother and my two younger siblings who reside outside of canada. I require some clarification for answering question 3 on the imm 0008 form - How many family members, including you, are in this application?
My father and mother, along with my two younger siblings live outside canada. My father is working there and my mother is a housewife. I have the income to only sponsor three of my family members - my mother and my two youngest siblings. My mother is the principal applicant. So do I enter 3 for question 3?
My total family members are - My father, My mother, myself (PR holder), sister 1 (24 years, working in canada), sister 2 (19 years, attending uni in canada, financially supported by my father), sister 3 (12 years lives with parents) and sister 4 (10 years and live with parents)
Should we enter 5 for question 3 and include my father and sister 2 even though neither of them will be accompanying my mother to canada?
Which one should i enter?
1. Three family members - my mother (principal applicant), sister 3 (accompanying to canada) and sister 4 (accompanying to canada)
2. Five family members - my mother (principal applicant), my father (not accompanying to canada) , sister 2 (not accompanying to canada), sister 3 (accompanying to canada) and sister 4 (accompanying to canada)
