Hi, Im trying to sponsor my mother. I had some questions about getting a Police Clearance Certificate from Saudi Arabia. Could anyone help me out with the process for obtaining a certificate from Saudi Arabia although my mother does not live there any more.

Thanks!

Your mother needs to submit police clearance records for every country where she's lived for 6 months or longer after turning 18 years old.

More info here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/mid-east/saudi-arabia.asp

"If you are applying at the Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, UAE, you should submit the police certificate with your application. You can contact the visa office for a request letter at fax: (971 2) 694-0396 or e-mail: abu-dhabi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca Please include your immigration file number if you have one."

Thanks! I am aware that she needs to obtain a certificate. However, I wanted pointers from anyone who has been able to obtain a Police clearance certificate from Saudi Arabia if they do not presently live there.

unfortunately, the chances of getting one is almost nil if you are already out of the country. just explain in your application and it will be alright.

If there is a Saudi Embassy or Consulate in your mother's area of residence or country you can request for a PCC. She should visit their office along with her passport having saudi visa page and a copy of her iqama (if available). If a request letter is sent to them their response may be slow or may be nil.
